right? Nepalese People, they prefer rice in their meals with some soup, curry and
pickles. Meat is consumed regularly with different styles of cooking methods. One of the most popular method is drying the raw meat for a month or
so and consuming it with different spices. The dried meat which will be used
for the consumption is called “SUKUTI” in Nepali Language and in Nepalese food
this recipe which I am going to serve you is called “SUKUTI SADEKO” Which
means the dried meat is mixed with the marinade adding some raw consume able
vegetables. I hope this Nepali food recipe will attract your attention and
inspire you to prepare it yourself in your home and I can bet you will like it
if you prefer spicy food.

The
ingredients and spices Nepalese people consume in regular are similar to that
of the indian foods. Nepalese people consume turmeric, salt, chilly powder, cumin, coriander
seed or leaves SUKUTI SADHEKO is a pickle type food usually served as a
starter in Restaurants and hotels. It is served along with drinks who prefer
some spicy taste.
Here I would like to present you the recipe for SUKUTI
SADEKO :
The ingredients required for this Nepalese foods are:
v
500 mg dry meat (beef, goat, pork, lamb)
anything you prefer which is dried raw for some days
v
50 ml mustard oil
v
1tsp garlic paste
v
1tsp ginger juice
v
20 gm coriander leaf chopped
v
1tsp lemon juice
v
20gm chilly powder
After you have prepared the
ingredients for the dish, set it on the table and apply the following methods
for preparing it.
Ø
First take the piece of dry meat and cut it into
Gardiner style cut.
Ø
Set heat on the gas stove and put the frying pan
on the stove, After put oil in the pan and pour the meat you have cut into
gardiner style before into the pan and fry it. Fry the meat until it gets
crispy. Take it off from the pan and set aside in a plate.
Ø
Then take a mixing bowl, salt. Lemon juice,
chilly powder, ginger and garlic paste and mix them together in the mixing
bowl. After it is mixed properly, then put the crispy dried meat you have fried
before and mix it well in the mixture you have prepared.
Ø
Once you have completed mixing it well, taste
for the amount of lemon juice and chilli as how you prefer. If you prefer spicy
and sour you can add some more as per your taste.

After, place it in a serving plate and garnish
it with coriander. finely cut ginger and onion as well.
Now, your dish “SADEKO SUKUTI” is ready for serving. You
can serve it to your guests with drinks or as a side dish with main course
meals. The choice is all yours.
